Leah,
>From my experience going through a general blindness skills program 
when I lived in Utah. They did have the large cell perkins brailler. 
They mostly were using it with people that would have neropathy in 
their hands from being dabetic and also for those they like your saying 
don't have that tactual skills to read the regular braille.
