[blindkid] Calendar Box System

Jonathan has developmental delays, due to prematurity, but he picks
things up quickly, once we figure out how to teach him. He is a micro
preemie and spent the first 5+ months in the NICU, and he has not caught
up yet.

We are still working on transitioning but it seems to be going smoothly.
Jonathan has no useable vision so I am not sure a book would work, he
really needs the tactile objects, which is why his TVI suggested the
calendar box.

Hi, does your son have any other disabilities? If not a comb bound
laminated
book with Velcro words works well. You can move things from time to time
by
switching pages making transitions smooth. Does he have problems with
transitions? Bran
