[blindkid] blindkid Digest, Vol 63, Issue 16

Susan,
Thank you for your kind words or prayer.  I will pass that on to Kayla and her family.

BTW, I know this family very well and they don't and didn't for one second ever think of blindness as a tragedy- it is the cost for surgery that is the problem.  My husband and I have been around as Kayla grew up.  I am blind and my daughter is blind and as a Federationist, I hope that I have been a positive influence for her over the years.  They never once thought or said that his life will be over if he becomes blind.  He is in good hands.

Thanks again for all the prayers.

Merry-Noel

I got news folks, all those saying they have a cure, are not always up front
about the risks and benefits, etc. How much do you want to put your
child through?  It is always a balance and we don't know until we have been
there.  Blindness is not the end of the world.  It is tough, but so are a
lot of other things that happen in life.  We will be lifting this family up
in prayer and hope all others will as well.
Blessings,
The Harper Family
