Hi, Sorry if my response is late I just got a ton of email from the list
that was some how held up in the server. I tied my shoes very young, but
I've always been told I have great fine motor skills. I remember playing
with the doll that had a shoe on one foot with a tie, and the other a
buckle, and wanting to be able to tie it on my own. My mom also told me when
I could tie my own shoe I could have tie shoes, and those were what my
friends had, so the bunny ear method worked great, and honestly its what I
use when I'm in a hurry! Bran
"For a small child there is no division between playing and learning;
between the things he or she does "just for fun" and things that are
"educational." The child learns while living and any part of living that is
enjoyable is also play." Penelope Leach
