I agree--
Or even pre-elementary. Our daughter was using a Perkins at age three
and Braillenotes / PAC Mates to a reasonable degree by age five.
I think DrV's sons were doing about the same, right? From what I read
on this list (and other places too) I don't think that is terribly
unusual.
Super that they want to look at this but I hope that ultimately they
will be looking at the approach starting a good 12 or 13 years earlier!
