Thank you Debby. I need to go to sleep now for work in the morning. May I write to you privately tomorrow evening to connect with your friends and perhaps share a little about your adoption experience?

Sherry, we also adopted our blind daughter. She was three at the time, now 14. Hard to believe! Like others have said, we expect the same as her sighted brothers. In fact, one brother is the same age, and she was determined to do whatever he did.

I would think most things would be the same, talking with other blind parents would be good. I have a great friend I'd be glad to connect you to, if you'd like. She has 2 grown kids and a granddaughter, so they survived! <grin>

  Hi Jim,

I agree with good parenting, however was seeking some sort of information on certain areas in which I may not of thought of as blind parents of a blind toddler(hopefully adopted soon).

  Thanks for sharing your views.

  Sherry
