Hello:

     When I was in high school, I used a regular gym trampoline. We used it 
barefooted. Without much trouble, I was able to tell where I was based on 
the feel of the mat under my feet. The mat was firmer closer to the rim. It 
also feels different the way it slopes. I am totally blind and was able to 
do flips from my feet both forward and backward.
