[blindkid] grip

I've attached a couple of pictures of Jack's grip on his cane.  I think the new tip is helping but our other part of the problem is he just does not have a very firm grip. Suggestions for adaptations or just give it time for strength to develop & hands to get larger?  Marie (mother of Jack born May 2005)
