Shapely-CAL with all of his "wonderful, whimsical, shapes and parts" ... has returned to enchant a new set of little ones. Pre-K to 3rd grade.
            IT'S BEEN A LONG WAIT …
"Lets Learn Shapes with Shapely-CAL" (second edition) is finally here!!
Many of you may remember this popular braille/print book with its brightly colored tactile graphics that introduces and reinforces pre-reading skills. Shapes, colors, counting, sequencing, and item identification are presented with a playful rhyming text.
Pages are designed to teach children (including those who are blind or visually impaired) how to interpret illustrations by touch.
These tactile graphics will enable, enrich, and empower the young child, who is blind or visually impaired, to develop an understanding of what a picture is and how a picture represents the actual environment.
"Lets Learn Shapes with Shapely-CAL" is effective for teaching a variety of concepts commonly found in print-only pre-reading books.
