[blindkid] Is anyone finding any DVS on their local PBS affiliate?

You're looking for an audio setting or audio menus setting somewhere in the box or on the menus of your TV or your cable box.

On my Cable Box for Comcast (this is the HD box) I go to

You might call your cable company, but you'll probably get more useful information if you ask how to get to Spanish simulcasts.

There you can select various options.

Here's a strange little thing there-- I just found "Descriptive Video Service" under options in that l location, just below the Spanish option. I've been using TiVo instead to decode the DVS so far and that is quite different. (I'll explain later if there are any TiVo users wanting to know.) I'll check this option on cable the next time I find a live feed running and tell you what I find.
