You can get books in grade 1. As for learning the contractions make it fun.
Put them on index cards and play memory or go fish to learn them. Quiz her,
put them to song and make a fun challenge. Start with the whole word
contractions, and the word parts like e ding er aaaand such because those
are most used. Practice will get her there.

Subject: [blindkid] Games or tips to learn contractions.

Abby is starting to get hungry about reading harder and longer books she
just doesn't know the all the contractions yet . Is there any games out
there that teach contractions? Or any tips? She is getting bored with the
little books she is reading but she doesn't know a lot of her contractions
yet. (she know a lot of the basic ones)
