[blindkid] home practice for screen reading programs/computer

I don't know what state your in, but I'm a rehab counselor in Florida.
 In this state a child with division of blind services aged 15 would
be a candidate for the transitions program.  They would basicly help
him get ready for work through eather college or  vocational training,
and would provide technology for him as well, like a computer at home.
 I would contact your son's rehab counselor and discuss this with her.
