Hi Sarah:
First off I'm sorry for the troubles you are having with your child's therapist. They should be supporting you and doing their best to learn how to help your child and it doesn't sound like that's the case. I think I have a resource that you will love! Here's the link - http://ohiodeafblind.org/assets/files/files/milestone_packets/0_2/hold_everything.pdf I found this while searching for ideas for my son and it is great. It's called "Hold Everything!" Twenty "Stay-Put" Play Spaces for Infants, Preschoolers and Developmentally Young Children with Sensory Impairments and Other Special Needs. It's from the Ohio Center for Deafblind Education.
These are easy ways to create toys and playspaces that are engaging and fun your your child. And the projects are affordable! Take a look.

I would call your program coordinator and tell her the problems you are experiencing with your therapists. She should be able to find you someone who has experience with blind children or is willing to learn and collaborate with you.
