Hello:

     I have been blind from birth and thanks to my parents' efforts have had
some maps and diagrams for school. My experience is that maps, floorplans,
graphs and charts can make sense. I have seen some coloring book pictures
and these rarely made sense to me. The key to understand one of these
pictures is to know what the object actually feels like. It takes practice
and interaction with sighted parents or teachers.
Baas relief images are more easily understood.
