I share your concern.  We work very hard to break down barriers and win 
equal opportunities for blind people in society.  Part of equality is 
sharing the same responsibilities as everyone else.  I feel it is important 
to teach our blind kids that they are perfectly capable of dealing with the 
inconveniences and annoyances of life that everyone else is subject to. 
That includes doing homework, cleaning up messes, and standing in line even 
when the line is long and you're getting bored.
