What grade is your daughter in ? I also don't feel like they should take away her Braille sense!! My son is in 7th grade and I refused an IPad for school use! He uses his Braille note, laptop with Windows/JAWS and refreshable Braille display and/or Bluetooth his Braille note.

I still don't understand why schools are insisting on IPads for our kids. As they get older it's really not effective for school!

Just my thoughts. My son is now fully mainstreamed in 7th grade and takes HIgh school classes. He cannot live without his Braille note!

My daughter has a braille sense. she's had it for probably four years now. She does very good on it, but the school is wanting her to go to iPad only with a braille display. I'm kind of hesitant because I know I've heard negative things on here about doing that.
