[blindkid] How can parents prepare for the first day of school?

Dear Members,

I'd like to know how you prepared for the first day of school.  
Parents of blind children begin preparing months in advance and 
even during Summer vacations to go back to school.  I'd like to 
know how you as parents premared for the first day of school with 
your children.  Look forward to reading your thoughts on this 
topic.
