[blindkid] NBA Braille boot camp

The National Braille Association Spring meeting will be held in our city,
Austin, this year. I noticed they offer a "Braille boot camp." Has anyone
taken this? Is it too rudimentary for someone who already feels positive
about Braille? Also, are sighted people allowed to work tactually? I read
the course description but could not get much from it. TIA!
