Hi,

I just upgraded to an IPhone 6 yesterday, and so I can now use the Health
app to count my steps. But with my 5c, which wouldn't work with the Health
app, I used, and still do, an app called Diabetes Pedometer with Glucose &
Food Diary, Weight Tracker, Blood Pressure Log And Medication Reminder by
Pacer, Michael Caldwell. I use VoiceOver, and it is pretty accessible for
me, especially after exploring it. For example, it has a choice called tab,
which means nothing, but I know it is the screen where I could put in
diabetes information because I explored it. The other tabs seem to have
names that accurately describe what they offer, for example, if you double
tap on activity, it then shows the screen that gives you your step count,
walking time, calories, and music button and such. I mainly use it for step
counting, and from what I can tell from using it, I find it counts my steps
pretty accurately. I did put in my weight, which you can do if you select
the more tab and go from there. If you type pacer in the search field in the
app store and then tap on pacer, it will show up in the list. I will also
place the link for it below.

Subject: [blindkid] Accessible pedometer or step counter

Hello
I am looking for an accessible pedometer or step counter iPhone app that is
pretty accurate.
I really wanted to do more then count steps. The more it can do the better.
Counting calories, adding food, keeping track of weekly steps to compare to
etc
If anyone has used or likes any I'd appreciate the help thanks
