Do you have an email address for Ms. Davis? I would like to contact her to ask if her study has been approved by review board concerning using human subjects. That would be a bare minimum requirement for university research. Lydia Schuck, PhD researcher and also parent of blind young adult

Subject: [blindkid] Study participants sought

I have been asked to share this information. Please contact Ms. Davis with
any questions.

*My name is LaVerne Davis, a doctoral study at grand canyon university who
resides in Killeen, Texas. I found your information from the Parent group.
I too have a child that is blind and this is what prompted me to conduct my
doctoral study on the blind or visually impaired but I am not allowed to
use my son for the study nor does he work in the virtual field. I am
trying to find out if parents have children who are working in the virtual
field like an at home job working on computers and would be willing to
be interviewed for my study. I am looking for individuals from the ages of
18-30. I have not been successful, I contacted two agencies; One said no
way Jose and I am still waiting to hear from another. I fear that I will
have to go out of the state of Texas although there are many B and VI
individuals in TX.*

If you prefer to speak to me by phone to understand my study please contact
me at
254 290-2279 thank you!!!!
