> Dear parents of children who are blind/visually impaired,
>
> Would you like to help your child get more active and experience the health benefits of exercise?
>
> Would you like to receive a FREE APH Walk-Run for Fitness Kit* (a $160 value) AND a gift card for participating in a study about fitness for children who are blind/visually impaired?
>
> If you answered yes to these questions, WE WANT YOU!
>
> We need parents of children who are blind/visually impaired (ages 3-21) who are willing to:
> Record their child doing a short fitness demonstration (smart phone or tablet recordings are fine) of skills like skipping and rolling a ball.
> Help their children perform simple exercises that are fun and geared towards family inclusion for at least 30 minutes a week over a 6-week period. (Note: The APH Walk-Run for Fitness Kit and a guidebook showing you exactly what to do will be mailed at no cost to you.)
> Record their child doing a short fitness demonstration again after 6 weeks.
> If you complete the study, you get to keep the APH Walk-Run for Fitness Kit, and you will also receive a gift card! And even more importantly, you will have learned some ways to make fitness a part of your child’s life!
