The latest issue of Future Reflections has just been posted online. This is
a special issue on STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math), with
articles about science experiments for preschoolers, troubleshooting in a
high school physics class, blind people in STEM-related careers, STEM
programs at the NFB Jernigan Institute, and more. NFB President Mark
Riccobono introduces the topic of STEM with his feature article "On LEGO,
The Pattern of Experience, and Building a Generation of Blind Scientists and
Engineers."  If your kids enjoy playing with LEGOs and wish they could read
the instructions, Matthew Shifrin's article is a must read! You can find
