[blindkid] Do I need to keep old schoolwork?

Be loud and clear and consistent - your son needs technology instruction from a TVI.
One of my hugest pet peeves is when technology is purchased for students (and you know BVI technology is NOT cheap) and everyone thinks that is the end of the technology questions and issues.
Technology will sit in the box, and not make any difference in anyone's life, if students are not taught how to use it!
This takes TIME! But I believe it is life changing.

Lori,
Thanks for the email idea.
Unfortunately, Caleb has not yet been taught how to use the Braille note to do that. Nor has he been taught to download books on it. If I sound a little frustrated, I am. He has a district purchased Braille note that he uses at school; we also purchased one for him to use at home.
I'm not sure what to do ?!?

You could just then attach/staple it to his hard copy braille so that he can have memories and work that he can access and you can understand it, too! It think it is important to keep both a hard copy and print copy of the things you have decided to save.
