Hello:

You can purchase a set of measuring spoons and measuring cups from the
NFB's Independence Market. The Independence Market has other cooking aids as
well. A very good pair of long sleve oven mits is an absolute must!
I also have a mechanical kitchen timer when I bake. You can get small rubber
dots to put around the oven to set the temperature. The digital ovens are a
bigger problem.
Some time ago,I found a set of plastic cutting boards that are also good for
hot pads. I use these to put cooky sheets on when I remove a pan of cookies.
There is also a talking meat thermometer so you can tell if a roast is
properly cooked.
When loose frying hamburger for tacos, I use a stock pot with a heavy
bottom. Its easy to stir the hamburger and not worry about making a mess on
the stove. Hope this helps.

Regards,

Robert
