If you feel like she gets excellent service but then they try to change part of that service (as has happened with us) tell them you will 'stay put' on current service. Do not sign the IEP at the meeting, do it after you have taken it home and reviewed thoroughly. Ask for summer services. Ask for equipment at home. Ask for parent conference time to be added to the IEP; that you consult with the TVI twice a month for x minutes. Ask for parental education on assistive technology. Ask how state testing will be done, accommodations. My third grade VI child also has his IEP coming up.
