Hi Jen thanks for your message. When I was in high school, I took a Chemistry class. One of the resources I had was a periodic table in braille. When we were learning about the elements, I was able to use my braille periodic table for these lessons.

As far as Iep goals for your daughter, I would recommend that she has a lab partner. I would also recommend that she practice taking notes independently during Chemistry lectures.

Sincerely,

Roanna Bacchus

In particular I would like to consider some science (physics) and math (calculus) goals. Does anyone have any resources they can suggest for possible goals and or accommodations for my daughter who has light perception?
