This is very interesting, thanks for the info. I do a lot of work on
accessibility of electronic documents (and Web sites) in California; not as
a lawyer but as a field expert usually brought in after a settlement. If
the E-Books are formatted correctly, this E-Book roll out can be extremely
beneficial for students and teachers with visual impairments. However, so
often publishers are either unaware of federal and state accessibility
requirements, or implement only the minimal necessities. Is there anyone
out there that has some experience working on law involving the
accessibility of electronic information? I joined this group recently to
learn more about the legal side of accessibility.
