Hi Everett.

Here in Houston, just about everything has gone the way of electronic
filing. Those filings are in pdf format.

Subject: [blindlaw] Blind parties to legal proceedings and inaccessible
documents

Good morning,

I am wondering if anyone has any recommendations for best practices
for blind parties to a legal proceeding who find it difficult to deal
with filings and documents submitted by other parties that are not in
an accessible format. With, or without council, I believe that a
blind party to a proceeding should have equitable access to filings.

I know that the procedure for this may differ from one jurisdiction to
the next, but it would be nice to hear how this issue is handled in
different jurisdictions.

Thanks,
Everett
