[blindlaw] availability of rehab services in Nevada

One of the students in my visual rehab / adaptive skills class in Tucson
(southern Arizona area, for those not familiar with the city) flies in
weekly from Las Vegas to attend. He and his wife were directed to SAAVI
after learning from his doctor that no such services existed in the
state of Nevada. As attorneys, myself and another classmate were very
distressed by that in terms of ADA issues, etc. Does anyone know if
this is true, and if so, whether any class action suit / negotiations
are in progress? We would like to be able to provide our classmate, an
older, retired gentleman, with some "local" assistance, whatever it
might be.

Feel free to email me off-list if this is not of general interest to the
group. Thanks.
