[blindlaw] paying a debt, assets too low

My understanding, if I am not mistaken, is that financial aid loans cannot
be discharged in bankruptcy, but you can defer interest payments based on
income. If it was general tuition owed to the school, I think that's a
different story. You don't indicate the nature of the debt.

What could the stupid college do against me other than ask for money?
WHat about riding it out for seven years as I've been told to do?
Thanks, Mike.

it's not very much money. I recommend just ignoring the debt and the debt
collector until you can pay it off or until the university seeks a lien or
something like that against you. Don't tell the debt collector off. Just
hang up on him and block his number. This is just my advice. It's not
legal advice. I don't have experience with this type of thing.

collector wanting money for the university I attended in 2012 in the fall.
I had to tell off the debt collector, but I'm told they'll just keep calling
until the money is paid in full, and I don't have $2216 in the bank, and I
can't make payments without it being a long term debt. My parents refuse to
support me, and that's the biggest hurdle I have. I want to know how to
file for bankruptcy and or make my parents pay the debt so that the debt
doesn't have any effect on my cvredit score.
