Hello, Unfortunately, I experience the same thing and sometimes, there's
nothing to do but ask for help sometimes.  I would see if nvda can help you
although I personally find that program very difficult to use.  I would also
talk to someone about some kind of script for jaws for windows.  Scripts can
improve accessability somewhat.  As far as programs that are not accessible,
I simply try to use a different one and have someone input my finished work
into the original program if they need to use that one so badly.  I wish I
could be more helpful but all the best.
