Hi Nikki,

Yes, I experience the same problem as you described. It’s very frustrating when I’m looking at a case on Westlaw and I switch over to word to write some notes, and then the JAWS focus is back at the top when I return to IE. I also started to notice this rather recently… But I can’t remember when.

You can put a temporary bookmark or placeholder whatever it’s called into the webpage before you switch out by using a controlled windows K command. This way if you lose your focus on the webpage when you go back into that window all you have to do is hit the letter K and it will bring you back to where you belong.
