Hi Sarah,
I'm wondering if Math Type could help here. You could write your fractions in LaTeX, then use Alt+backslash to translate into an equation. I might have this wrong though. Here's the website to learn more and download:

Subject: [Blindmath] Creating equations in documents

Hello All,
I am creating some handouts for sighted students, which will contain some basic math equations, and specifically, I need to format the division equations properly so that the numerator is above the denominator (instead of them simply being seperated with a /)
Is there an accessible way to do this? I am currently using Word 2003.
Thanks,
Sarah
