Hi there,
Also, what disability(ies) does this student have? Do they read Braille? Use
audio? Large print? Knowing these questions will better help us help you.
It's excellent you're starting research now though on how to help this
student. I hope he is also taking the self-advocacy reigns and seeking out
some information himself too.

Hi Sandra,
Do you happen to know which courses your student is planning to take? The
level of accommodation will depend on difficulty of the course material (as
in how it is conveyed) and a history of such accommodation's received by
this student.

Greetings,
I have a student who will be attending in the Spring semester who is blind.
What accommodations do we need to have to accommodate this student?  I
imagine there are zillions of such accommodations but I'm just wanting the
basics at least as a place to start.  The student tells me he is not sure
what he needs.  I don't know either.  Thanks for any assistance.
