Hello, Alice and all.
I recommend that you use unicode to insert mathematical symbols in the
html document.
You can get the tables from unicode.org and simply type the symbol to
insert reference using &#decimalreference;
That way both as JAWS and NVDA will be able to verbalize the symbol.
Jaws does automatically from version 2019. NVDA has a box in your
configuration that identifies the unicode symbols.
