*MathWorks Needs Your Help!*

Hi Susan,

The Carroll Center for the Blind is assisting MathWorks to find
participants interested in exploring accessibility with them.

MathWorks, the company that makes MATLAB and Simulink, technical computing
software used by engineers and scientists, is looking for screen reader
users who use MATLAB, or software like Visual Studio Code, Eclipse, or
IntelliJ IDEA, at all experience levels (new to advanced) to participate in
usability research.

They are also seeking participants who are visually impaired but do not
utilize screen reading software, screen magnification software, or braille
displays. If you make any modifications to themes, colors, sizes, or other
features using built-in accessibility features within your computer or
device, please share that information with them when you respond.

Your feedback will help MathWorks assess and increase the accessibility of
their products. These sessions will be held remotely using WebEx, your
computer, and any assistive technology you may use. You will need to have a
microphone available on your computer.

A typical session takes between 30 minutes and 2 hours, depending on the
activity planned for the session. Activities range from short interviews to
longer sessions where you get to try out their software and provide
feedback. They will schedule any session to best suit your schedule. Before
each session, they will also schedule a short meeting to discuss set up,
which should take no more than 1 hour.

You will be offered up to $200 for participation in the form of a PayPal
transfer, Amazon gift card, MathWorks gear, or charitable donation.
