Dear BlindMath community members,

My name is Keita Ohshiro, a graduate student at New York University. As
part of my master’s thesis, I am recruiting interview participants for both
current or past university and college students who are blind and teachers
who have taught them.

The purpose of the interview is to learn about accessibility of math graphs
in university and college education, specifically graphs used to
communicate math concepts in Calculus 1 such as limit, continuity,
derivatives, and integrals. My aim is to identify the problems that
students/teachers/schools are having and develop ways to improve those
problems using audio descriptions and sonification.

The interviews will be conducted via zoom and take about an hour maximum.
If you are interested, please contact Keita Ohshiro at keita.ohshiro at nyu.edu
.

Thank you and have a great day.

Sincerely,
Keita Ohshiro
