[BlindMath] Math Not Accessible In Gemini

I like using Gemini to deepen my understanding of Math and CS topics.
However, in its responses, equations, variables, and other mathematical
content is often rendered in a way that NVDA doesn’t pick up on.
For instance: “v sub w when is a center word.” Notice how between “when”
and “is” there is an extra space. Here, there almost certainly is a “w”
there that my screen reader is missing. Often, entire equations are
inaccessible. This occurs on both Chrome and Firefox.
To address this, I’ve tried adding system prompts/memories/personal context
to Gemini about my preference for plain text for all Math content; yet,
Gemini 3 Pro/Thinking continues to occasionally forget.
Have you experienced this issue? Do you have any advice on making Gemini
output Math that is always accessible, whether it be plain text or Math ML?
I’d be grateful for all your inputs.
With warm regards,
Bhavya Shah
