It would be surely useful to write a comprehensive post about it. I am ready to contribute to it. But I think it requires exploring all available options. I only have an experience with orbit reader, a simple braille display and little bit of exploration with latex with voice-over in mac. I believe you'd have to get either people from different domains to contribute to the article or survey as many to get a complete perspective.
