My feeling is VSCode should be a go to editor for all blind people because of all the work Microsoft and others have done and continue to do to it to keep it accessible. With that said. I love having multiple editors and EdSharp has always been a great tool. There are some other new editors that might show up on the scene soon and the more the marrier. I am glad Jamal did this. I had actually been thinking of taking his code and doing the same with AI. I am glad he gave it the kick start and now that it is fresh maybe I and others can help out with it and keep it up dated.

I believe this is a good development. If edsharp was still in development when I tried it I think I would have stuck with it.
I've already started working on a personal plugin like emacspeak but for neovim.
I'll definitely install it and I'm looking forward to further development.
With best wishes

It is the first public release in over a decade, motivated partly by requests from users and by the development assistance offered by AI. This is the first 64-bit version of EdSharp, compiled on the latest version of the .NET Framework that is built into all modern Windows computers.

I welcome feedback to improve the project, requesting such communication to be via direct message if possible (email, Facebook, LinkedIn, or text). Replies to this announcement are also welcome as long as a lengthy message thread does not result.
