Good points, Quinto; the more comfortable you are, usually, they are
comfortable, too, and do ask if they have questions; if they turn out to be
the same old questions they really should know, I'm not sure what I'd do,
and personal questions, IMO, are not appropriate.
	I recently had a client; I left something somewhere, and we stood up
to walk over, and I took his right arm; he acted like he had been a sighted
guide forever, and I pointed out to him, one of his skills is openness and
adaptability.

Hi Angelina,

You can do it but, I think in this type of setting a laptop is necessary so
that you can write your notes. Be sure that you review the forms that they
will be filling out so that you can understand what they are asking if they
have any questions about what their filling  out. I wouldn't worry so much
about loosing the person you're working with b/c if you are noticeably VI
then they are more likely to be considerate not to walk off on you. You can
also build rapport with them at the beginning, and let them know in a
playful manner so that they won't feel uncomfortable....  "ok just don't
walk away from me because I won't find you" or something like that to where
they know that you are visually impaired right from the start. With them
knowing that you are VI from the start will more likely lead them to be more
cooperative with you. Hopefully these tips help you.
