Jan, you are right, Adobe Reader will not read an 
image PDF.  If you have an older version of JAWS, 
it will not include OCR.  If you have a recent 
one, it will, 15 and 16 for sure, 14 also I 
think, can't remember about 13.  So if yours is 
recent and doesn't OCR, do a reinstall or repair.
