In response to your question, I do not believe my blindness played in any aspect of the interview. Furthermore, I am convinced that the program director saw me first, my skills and then my blindness as one of many characteristics. This is so true for those of us who work in the field of mental wellness.

I welcome the advice and insight from any of you on the list with regard to talking to the human resources director.
