Hello Rachel,
First of all, you may share the reference document to anyone that
wishes to have it. I produced the document as a need that I saw on this list
and thought it would be a helpful reference tool. Please feel free to share
the document with anyone that wishes to use it.Maybe when the webpage gets
up and running we can upload the document for all to download.
Secondly, let me address your question about the master list. If you
make a change to a citation that is on the master list, when you select
<OK>, the program will ask you if you want to update the master and the
document. All you need to do is select the option you wish (I allways update
both) and you are done. I would advise you to insert your bibliography at
the end as the inserted bibliography will not change.
If you get the message that the tag is already in use, you can
change the tag name to something that you wish. This will not change the
other tag or entry.
If you are selecting <COPY> on the master list, you should be doing
so in the document that you are currently producing. You should be selecting
<NEW> from the master list to add a new resource.
I hope that this makes sense. Perhaps this should be a topic for a
conference call some time as it seems to be a need for many.

Subject: [humanser] citations for APA in Office 2016

Hello, all.

I am back in school, as I had to withdraw, but have restarted the program.
I'm wondering how to do citations for APA in Office 2016? I add a reference,
and when I go to copy it, it gives me an error that the master list has the
same tag and that it can't use it. Please advise as to what I should do.
Thanks.

Rachel
