[humanser] Techniques to deal with inaccessible software

Hello,

I have an internship opportunity to work in a health clinic for the
following year but just found out that most if not all of the programs
run on the computers on-site are not accessible with JAWS. In
addition, an adaptive tech specialist consulted with the organization
and confirmed how difficult it would be to make the programs work with
a screen reader, even with scripting.

I am wondering what techniques people use to access and input
information in a clinical setting. One idea someone told me is to have
an assistant to help with data entry. I am looking for others who work
or have prior experience working with medical information and records.
