Hello all,
I too would like to welcome to you this list. I was a Scholarship
Winner in 2014 and it was such an amazing experience. I myself am
venturing into becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in efforts
to learn how to utilize Trauma Focussed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
on children who have been affected by abuse. I am a recent graduate
from The University of Texas at Austin with my Bachelor's Degree in
Social Work with a Minor in Psychology and am efforting to apply to
Grad School. I am very grateful for his Division for the amount of
support we give to one another. This is a great venue for all of us to
pick each other's brains in our experiences, ideas, trepidations,
successes and failures. That way we can all grow from one another and
truly live the lives we want by becoming outstanding members in the
field of Human Services.

Please feel free to contact me anytime :)

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create
obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life
you want; blindness is not what holds you back.
