Yes, but why would someone ask to take a test with JAWS if they did not have a valid reason to??

They may need some sort of proof that he's blind.  Something signed by a doctor or a certified professional in the field should be good enough, especially if he has regular checkups. They shouldn't need an actual exam to be done if there is already a record of b lindness.

Hi List,

My husband is preparing to take a standardized test to complete a certification.  Several of his colleagues and  he have requested to use JAWS for the exam.  They were told they had to provide an eye exam before the accommodation will be provided.  This did not sound right to me.  Is it?
