Dear Dr. Mary Chappell Licensed Psychologist!
I find words difficult to share of how proud to hear this news! First, the
pride I feel in knowing you because I know your journey and you made it!! As
you worked and we talked many hours through the experiences you dealt with
due to inaccessibility over the past five years, it looks like the trail has
been blazed which thrills me that the blind professionals coming up in the
near future to take these exams will be able to do so freely. Thank you
for being a trail blazer and a role model of pure determination!

Congratulations on your success! I am thrilled for you!

With love,
Merry C. Schoch, LCSW

All,

For 5 years I have struggled with accessibility and administration of the
Examination for Practice of Professional Psychology (EPPP). That struggle
transformed into success on July 17, 2017 when that licensure exam was
passed-using JAWS with completion 2 hours earlier than the time extension
accommodation. Pearson Vue provided a professional setting and appropriate
technology adaptations to make the experience as close to stress free as
any such exposure could be. Academic Review provided study materials that
prepared me with the knowledge and confidence to WIN! Thank you to all who
kept the faith-even when I got weary.

Genuinely,

Mary Tatum Chappell
