Good afternoon, Rebecca,

         Having developed tactile appraxia (a symptom of brain 
damage, I became practiced with using audio feedback whether it be 
reading course materials within textbooks  or taking notes. once upon 
a time, I used braille rather exclusively and, experience has 
illustrated how in fact, conducting situations of daily life despite 
an absence of braille, something I used not to believe  TO BE 
possible until I had too.
If you need to take dictation, use headphones.
