[humanser] Continuing education

For the first time next week I will be watching a video to obtain continuing education credits. I’m nervous because I have little Computer skills. I will have someone there with me. So asking for help isn’t an issue here. I guess how do most people get there continuing education credits? Every state has different requirements so I know that this can’t be specific. I am asking your seasoned workers in the field and those new to the field who may have just gotten their license and are not working yet. I’m in the predicament where I’m not working and can’t pay for the continuing Ed. This is something Voc. Rehab refuses to help withperiod so I am looking for free but continuing education that is decent. My VR counselor gave me a link and I will do some of them. I have to get 30 done by February. For an ethics already coming from a face-to-face presentation end of January so I don’t have to worry about that. 

My other question is what are the most used computer skills in the field? I’m guessing it’s Microsoft products and whatever your agency uses two schedule, take notes etc. I’m not sure quite what Wisconsin users now. With the county used to keep track of people coming to food pantries and other programs has not been talked about. I’m guessing Wisconsin uses proprietary software.
